This report investigates cases of land grabbing in Uganda, focusing in particular on oil plantations in the Lake Victoria region. The report finds that the development of large-scale industrial agriculture projects is depriving local communities of access to natural resources, exacerbating rural poverty and aggravating the risk of food crises.
