Text of report by Serbian radio on 24th June After the UN Security Council session, Ambassador Vladislav Jovanovic, head of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia FRY UN mission, met about 30 foreign journalists reporting from the United Nations palace. Former international representative in Bosnia Carl Bildt was also standing near the group of journalists and our ambassador and listening what he had to say.

Vladislav Jovanovic said that the exclusion of Yugoslavia from the debate in the Security Council was a US initiative and that this same action was part - and an extension - of Washington's aggressive policy.

The voting by and the mood of the UN Security Council members is proof that the UN Administration is in conflict with the huge majority of mankind, Ambassador Jovanovic stressed, adding that everyone was clear that no results, progress and real cooperation were possible without Yugoslavia as a key factor of peace, stability and development in Southeast Europe.
