The event “Realizing a vision for transformative development” was held in commemoration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the United Nations Declaration on the Right to Development.
Roberto Bissio, Social Watch Coordinator, who participated in the event, highlighted that removing the obstacles for development cooperation is essential.
The launch of the publication “Realizing the Right to Development: Essays in Commemoration of 25 Years of the United Nations Declaration on the Right to Development” was held on December 9th in the United Nations in New York. Authors of the publication participated in the Roundtable.
The event was co-organized by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung New York Office.
