June 4 – 6, 2003
The UN "Official Documents System" (ODS) is a digital record of UN documents in all official languages. Free and open worldwide access is technically feasible via the web, but necessary hardware infrastructure is lacking. NGOs need this information for our work. We therefore urge the United Nations and member states to support full funding for universal access to the ODS in the 2004 – 2005 biennial budget.
